Radio spectrum occupation control:
This mission consists in controlling the use of the different radio bands in order to verify its correspondence with the authorizations granted by the National Frequency Agency.
This control encompasses the entire territory of the Tunisian Republic and is done regularly, by means of fixed and mobile control stations, and through measurement and frequency technique companions.
Handling of interference cases:
In the event of a complaint of interference by one of the authorized operators of the radio spectrum, the National Frequency Agency is required to identify the source of this interference, using the technical tools made available to it, and to solve this interference problem with the solution it deems most appropriate
Major events:
The ANF ensures the availability of the different frequencies to be allocated during major events by intensifying measurement campaigns and systematic spectrum monitoring.
The radio observatory:
It is the center that oversees all measurement and technical control of frequencies. It controls regional control centers, fixed control stations and mobile stations
Regional control center:
It is a center of measurement and technical control of frequencies which covers a well limited geographical area and which is staffed.
He must be able to exchange data with:
- The radio observatory
- Mobile control units
- The fixed stations attached to it
Fixed remote control station:
It is a remote control station from the regional control center to which it is attached.
Mobile control station:
A mobile station is equipped with frequency measurement and control devices installed on board a vehicle.
